WALA’s Creative Entrepreneurs Series is for creatives of all kinds who want to take the next step in their professional career by creating their own business. Explore the basics of forming a business for your creative endeavors, from deciding whether to incorporate as a non-profit or for-profit entity, to understanding copyrights and trademarks, contracts and licensing, negotiation strategies, the grants process, and finally estate planning for artists and creatives.

The series comprises of six sessions to be held on *consecutive Tuesdays, starting Tuesday, April 29, 2025 and continuing through Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 6pm – 8pm.

Paul Marengo brings over 25 years of expertise in development and program execution, encompassing a broad spectrum of fundraising activities including Corporate Support, Foundation Support, Government Support, and Individual Giving. With a deep belief in the potential of smaller nonprofits, Paul is dedicated to empowering these organizations by providing them with the tools and strategies necessary to become competitive fundraisers. His extensive experience includes working with and training nonprofits to think innovatively about how data and other resources can enhance their development strategies. By fostering a fresh perspective and practical skills, Paul helps these organizations maximize their fundraising potential and achieve meaningful results.
