We've been thrilled with WALA's services. Aside from assistance finding legal services, we've attended two of the workshops which helped us kickstart two major goals- obtaining 501(c)(3) status, and ensuring our copyright situation was sound.

I am extremely appreciative of the Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts and their efforts to support the arts through the years. In my 36 years of teaching I know first-hand what your support means to generations of children and aspiring arts educators. Thank you so much for all you do.

I sent (our WALA Volunteer Attorney) the Memorandum of Understanding, and within a short period of time, he gave me feedback on what else might be helpful to include in the MoU and after our discussion, he edited the MoU and sent me a more extensive version of an Agreement.  (They) gave us top legal counsel. We appreciate the pro bono assistance.
