Anissa Parekh is an attorney, practicing in Washington, D.C. Her practice focuses on estate planning. Born and raised in Massachusetts, Anissa is a graduate of Concord Academy, Williams College and Cornell Law School. She spent one year studying Shakespeare and British Architecture at Exeter College, Oxford University, as well as serving as a coxswain for the Exeter Men’s Rowing Team.
Anissa began her legal career as an active duty Army lawyer in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps. After serving nearly 10 years on active duty, she remained in the Washington D.C. area, working in private practice and serving clients in a broad range of government contracts, litigation, commercial and corporate matters.
In addition to her work as an attorney, Anissa is a professional actor and proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association. She received her training at The Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory and The Theatre Lab School of Dramatic Arts. Anissa loves to travel, and shares of her love of yoga through teaching classes and workshops near her home in Alexandria, VA..
