Entertainment Law 101 for Filmmakers

Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts Board members Brian Frankel and John Mason will provide an overview of key legal concepts for filmmakers, including copyright, trademark, work for hire agreements, funding, business organizations and more. There will be time for some brief Q&A.

Then join volunteer WALA Attornies and students from George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School’s Center for the Protection of Intellectual Property for a free Drop-in Legal Clinic from 1:30-3:00 pm, coordinated by WALA Board Member Sandra Aistars and WALA Legal Services Director Maggie Gladson.
