Event Summary

The D.C. Bar Intellectual Property (IP) Law Community and the Arts, Entertainment, Media and Sports (AEMS) Law Community are co-hosting a networking event for members, friends, and law students. At this event, the Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts (WALA), a non-profit volunteer lawyers organization based in Washington D.C., will present an overview of its mission, pro bono services, and educational opportunities. Attendees will discover ways to contribute and explore potential collaborations to serve clients with limited means. These collaborations could involve various areas of intellectual property related to entertainment, arts, and creatives, including trademark, patent, copyright, and licensing services. This event is a great opportunity to learn and engage with the community.  

This is a free event, pre-registration is required. As always, please feel free to share this invitation with colleagues. D.C. Bar membership is not required to attend. Non-members will need to create a profile to register.
