India Pinkney-Abrom is the Executive Director, Office of International Affairs, API-1, with the Federal Aviation Administration. Prior to that, she was General Counsel of the National Endowment for the Arts. She received a BA in Foreign Affairs and Middle Eastern Studies and a JD from the University of Virginia. India clerked with the N.C. Supreme Court and then practiced at Baker & Hostetler, LLP. She worked at the Federal Aviation Administration in the International Law Division. She served as the first U.S. attorney in the Legal Bureau of the United Nations' International Civil Aviation Organization. This South Carolinian is an avid traveler who has lived in France and Canada. She writes creatively and loves books. India is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
