Mary Bonventre is a public interest and art and entertainment attorney, and a 2013 graduate of American University’s Washington College of Law (WCL), where she was awarded the full-tuition Public Interest Public Service scholarship. Her practical public interest experience includes work with organizations such as University Legal Services Protection and Advocacy Program, Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights & Urban Affairs, and the American Civil Liberties Union. Mary is also an Associate Attorney at Copyright Counselors, LLC where she focuses primarily on intellectual property litigation and transactional work including copyright, trademark, and commercial matters relating to creative industries. Mary is admitted to practice in Maryland and is pending admission to practice in the District of Columbia.
